Option 1: Co-Host/Feature One of Our Regular Shows
Join us live on air as a guest co-host for any of our regular shows! You'll get the chance to share your story, chat with our audience about your musical journey, and even have a few of your tracks featured during the broadcast. It's a fantastic way to connect with your fans and introduce your music to our global audience. Before selecting a date you must already be on rotation with Radiodowntown.ca
Option 2: Co-Host "The Perfect Note"
Take center stage as the exclusive co-host of The Perfect Note. This special show is all about you and your music, offering an in-depth exploration of your musical journey. Host John K will guide the conversation with insightful questions, creating a captivating experience for our listeners. The playlist? 100% your music! Before selecting a date you must already be on rotation with Radiodowntown.ca
Both co-hosting experiences are conducted via Zoom, ensuring high-quality audio while keeping the video private for the host and co-host. To guarantee a seamless show, a test connection is required at least 7 days before the live broadcast.

OPTION 1: To co-host one of our regular shows with JohnK, select a two hour show from below that starts at 7pm weekdays (Mondays: DJs Choice, Wednesdays: JukeBox Hwy 1, Thursdays: Smooth Jazz on the Rocks, Fridays: Super 70's Show)
For New Artists OPTION 2: Any Monday, Wednesday or Thursday at 11am or Saturdays at Noon can be secured by simply letting us know which day you prefer. Try to give us at lease 10 days notice if you can. You are the star of the show only your music will be played.

Recording Policy
All interviews conducted by Radiodowntown.ca are the exclusive property of Radiodowntown.ca.
Recording of any interview—whether audio or video—by the interviewee or any third party is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the owner of Radiodowntown.ca.
It is also illegal for any person to record, copy, or distribute the audio portion of any Radiodowntown.ca program for public listening without explicit written authorization. Unauthorized recording or distribution may result in legal action.
Zoom Requirements:
Please ensure that you have internet connection on your computer.
While not necessary, headphones are advisable for better audio quality.
You should have either a computer mic or an external mic for clear communication.
Additionally, having a webcam is advisable for visual engagement with JohnK.
Submission of Tunes:
Please go to Submissions - Radiodowntown.ca make sure we have at least four tunes as MP3 or WAV files
These tunes will be part of our broadcast, so ensure they are in the appropriate format and quality.
If you have already supplied these we thank you. Live show can last 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Test Connection with JohnK:
Prior to the LIVE show, we'll need to conduct a test connection with you on Zoom at lease 7 days prior to the date of the LIVE show. This will only about 10 minutes.
A connection link will be sent to your email for your arranged date and time. This link will be used for the test connection and the LIVE show. During the test we will go over the show details and ensure everything is set up correctly for the LIVE broadcast. Before selecting a date you must already be on rotation with Radiodowntown.ca
Scheduling:
Once you've sent in the tunes and have a link sent to you for Zoom, we can meet on Zoom we can mutually agree on a few possible dates for the show.
Social Media Postings:
We do require at least a head and shoulders photo of the person who will be on the interview for social media posts. MUST be sent in 7 days prior to Live Show.
Live Broadcast:
The show will be broadcast live on air, so it's essential that we're both prepared and ready to engage with our audience.
