Phil's recording career began in 1979, as lead vocalist/guitarist/songwriter with UK powerpop/punks "The Stiffs". Through the 2010s, he toured the world as guitarist with Les McKeown, including the Bay City Rollers reunion shows (2015-16). During 2021-22, he has been touring guitarist with Merrill Osmond's live band. Phil's first solo album - "Radio Calling" (2020) spawned several radio hits.
